Words can’t describe how much you are loved and missed! We have all been so blessed to have you as a dad a grandpa and a great grandfather. Where and how I find my peace with letting you go is knowing you are always with us and you took a piece of me with you.Thank you for showing me it exists! My life has been blessed to be able to be your daughter.I love you 🧡 and miss you more everyday but now I know we will
meet in the end
Richard was one of the most amazing men that I have had the privilege of knowing. He was the yardstick to which men should be measured.
Your wings were ready but not my heart. It was a honor and privilege to have you as a dad. I miss you more with every passing day. Thanks for all the love and kindness and unconditional love that you not only gave me but that you gave to everyone else that was blessed enough to know you…
My life has been truly blessed and will continue to be because of you. It truly has been my honor and privilege and joy to be your daughter. Thank you for all the amazing life lessons journeys and unconditional love.
You have been an amazing brother. Never judging, just loving. You have been a fighter all there years. I love you and will miss you! Love until we meet again. 💕
You have been an amazing grandfather, you helped me through some dark times and taught me to live my life in the name of the lord. Thank you for all the amazing life lessons you taught me.
Rick is the main reason I had a 46 year career in the power industry. I owe it to him. He pushed to hire a female in an all male group …… and did.
He was my role model in many ways. His ethics, talent, caring, logic and skills with people always impressed me. He tackled issues and problems with a calm and wise approach. I learned so much from him. Heaven has a special place for him. He told me had many miracles and was blessed. I miss him and so will many others. He was a man of service to and for others and is probably continuing that service in heaven.
I owe my 46-year career in the power industry to Rick. He pushed and pushed to hire this young co-op student – the first female in an all-male group engineering group – and he succeeded as he did with many things throughout his life. He was and is my role model. He was and is a man of service to and for others. His ethics, talent, caring for others, and leadership were the things I admired. I was in awe many times to see the calm with which he tackled some of the most difficult issues and problems, especially his health challenges. His faith and his walk with the Lord were always visible.
He told me he had experienced many miracles and was ready to do whatever the Lord had in store for him. He helped many and will be missed by all ……… including me.
Rick has been a truly decent person who served as a role model and will be missed by all who knew him.
Richard will be missed by his college classmates and friends. My prayers for all his family and friends. Remember Richard as a faithful Christian with the promise of eternal life.
I worked with Rick for several years and he was an absolute gentleman. He was professional and helpful. I am sorry for your loss.
Richard Fraze was an astoundingly faithful and giving member of our Christ United Methodist Church, St Petersburg congregation. His brilliance at accomplishing such a variety of tasks for so many years was, simply, matchless. We will never be able to completely know of the full impact he had for good in such a variety of places – in Pinellas County and beyond – since Richard was never boastful but always working to help others wherever he could. A brave soldier for our country in Viet Nam and an everlasting soldier for our Lord here at home, Richard Fraze was one of the very best! We thank his family for sharing him with all of us and we thank God for his remarkable life and everlasting friendship.

Rick was a remarkable professional engineer that really knew a lot and always acted in an ethical fashion. I had known Rick since the early 1970’s and worked with him on many projects. Through all his health issues I never heard him complain about those problems. His presence will be missed by all.
It was an honor to know Richard, his love for the Lord, his wife , and his family were evident from his relationship with Christ Jesus. His home is in Heaven forever more and I look forward to seeing him again. May God give comfort and peace to his family, friends, and all who knew Richard. All praise and glory to God.
Richard saved us many, many times. He fixed our cars when we could not afford to have them fixed. Coveted our roof when it was leaking and a storm was coming. The list goes on and on. For 57 years we laughed, cried and loved each other. Pizza at Gigi’s was our place where we enjoyed our long friendship. I can see his face with a sly smile and a twinkle in his eye when I would share the story of the Mighty Metro…it was an honor to call him our friend.
