Richard T. Perretti, 76, passed away in his home in Largo, Florida, on October 4, 2025.
Born on May 30, 1949, in the Bronx, New York, Richard was a proud U. S. Marine Corps veteran. He served honorably during the Vietnam War and was awarded the Purple Heart in recognition of his bravery and sacrifice.
Richard enjoyed golfing and biking and he participated in many triathlons over the years. He also loved spending time at the race track, but above all he was known for his unwavering dedication to his daily routines.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Charlotte Taeger; his stepfather, William Taeger; and his brother, Carl Perretti. He is survived by his daughter, Richel Perretti; his brothers Peter Perretti and Chris Taeger; two nieces Claudette and Monique and two nephews Charles and Jason.
A service with honors will be held on Monday, October 20, 2025 at 1:30pm at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, FL 33513.
