obert C. Morris was born on July 20, 1932 in Troy, New York. He passed away on November 21, 2017 at the age of 85.
Military
Robert joined the Navy on December 2, 1952 in Jacksonville and was honorably discharged after 3 years of service as a First Class Petty Officer. At the time of his discharge, Petty Officer Morris was entitled to wear the Navy Good Conduct Award, National Defense Service Medal, Korean Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, China Service Medal as well as his designation as an expert rifleman on his uniform.
Petty Officer Morris’s final duty assignment was aboard the USS Waxbill a YMS -1 class minesweeper tasked with removing mines from the water to prevent boats from passing.

Robert Morris will have a private service at Bay Pines National Cemetery in Bay Pines, Florida.
