Robert E. Arbour, 76, of Palm Harbor, Florida passed away on March 14, 2023 at the Suncoast Hospice in Palm Harbor, Florida. A native of Lansing, MI and a local resident since 1995, when he moved here from Lansing. Michigan. He was the son of Harry R. and Mary (Bush) Arbour and was of the Catholic faith. He worked as a quality control man for General Motors Corporation and retired from there. Robert was a member of the United Auto Workers Union. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War Era and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal; a Letter of Commendation; a Good Conduct Medal and was awarded a Expert Rifle Badge.
Robert is survived by his loving family: his wife, Lynn Arbour of Palm Harbor, Florida; a son, David Arbour and his wife, Leanne of Clearwater, Florida; daughters; Michelle Fernandez and her husband, Robert of Zephyrhills, Florida and Kris Hammer and her husband, Lance of Palm Harbor, Florida; 6 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Graveside and full military honors will be held for SP5 Robert E. Arbour at 1:30 pm, Friday, March 24, 2023 at the Florida National Cemetery. 6502 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, Florida with the Honors and Ceremonial Team from Fort Stewart, Georgia and the Sumter County Military Honor Guard.
