A native of Cincinnati, Ohio and a local Davie, Florida resident, Robert (Bob) worked for the YMCA, and then was an accountant for Ohio Casuality Insurance Company, both in Hamilton, Ohio; a graduate of the University of Cincinnati; and a Veteran of World War II. Robert and his wife were active in modern square dancing since they moved to Florida in 1981.
During his military career, he was awarded the Normandy Ribbon; Northern France Ribbon; Rhineland Ribbon; Central Europe Ribbon; Ardennes Ribbon; Air Offensive Europe Ribbon; Good Conduct Ribbon and Distinguished Unit Citation.
Robert is survived by his wife, Janet Wuenker of Davie, Florida; a son, Bruce Wuenker and his wife, Wendy of Weston, Florida; a daughter, Linda Zamboni and her husband, Robert of Clearwater, Florida; a brother, James Wuenker of Cincinnati, Ohio; a sister, Jean Wuenker of Cincinnati, Ohio; and 2 grandchildren, Lindsey Wuenker of Chicago, Illinois, and Robert Wuenker of Asheville, North
