Robert Lee Eberhart, age 90, of Pinellas Park, Florida, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2026. Born in York, Pennsylvania, he was the beloved son of the late Georgia and Herman Eberhart.
Robert was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Gail Eberhart, and his parents. He shared a loving and faithful marriage with Gail, and was known as a kind, gentle, and devoted husband.
A hardworking and dependable man, Robert spent 22 years as a plant manager for Pepsi-Cola before retiring and relocating to Florida. Never one to stay idle, he continued working as a handyman, always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He truly enjoyed working and found great fulfillment in helping others.
Robert proudly served his country in the United States Navy, enlisting in April of 1953. During his service, he was stationed aboard the USS Wisconsin (BB-64) battleship, an experience he held with great pride.
A man of strong Christian faith, Robert loved God and cherished his friendships. He lived his life guided by kindness, humility, and a good sense of humor. He was known for being both funny and entertaining, bringing joy to those around him.
In his free time, Robert enjoyed repairing mopeds, square dancing for many fun-filled hours, boating, and camping in his RV. These hobbies reflected his love for both craftsmanship and companionship.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 4, 2026, at 12:30 PM at Bay Pines National Cemetery, located at 10000 Bay Pines Blvd., Bay Pines, Florida.
Robert will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His legacy of kindness, service, and faith will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
