Robert Leo Bryant Jr. US Army Veteran


Robert Leo Bryant Jr. was born in Brooklyn, New York on November 4, 1949, to Robert Leo Bryant Sr. and Margaret Leolia Woolfolk-Bryant. He entered eternal life on September 6, 2022, at the age of 73, after aa ongoing battle with cancer.

He will always be remembered as the one bringing the party alive with his big contagious smile, constant jokes, and literally pouring passion into his cooking. You are very much acknowledged and appreciated for your United States Army service from 1969-1971 and your Sarasota County Police Officer services in the 1980’s. Thank you!
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Margaret Bryant and sister, Barbara Jean Young. Robert is survived by his wife, Joy Bryant; two  children,  Shakirah Tenica Rivera (Ricardo Rivera) and Tanica Joy Bryant-Stacy  (Juan D. Stacy); 7 grandchildren,  Sha’Dai Tashey Bryant, Mariah Joy Sanchez, Malena Marie Sanchez, Angellina Stacy, Serenity Stacy, James jr. Sanchez, Jesus Mark Sanchez; three sisters, Diane Elaine Tranberg,  Deborah Stocknoff (Lee), Anita Charlot Jackson; a brother, Leslie Foster Bryant (Joyce); and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Robert’s service will be on Friday, 11:00 AM, October 14, 2022 at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 S/W 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, Florida with the United States Army providing military honors.
