Robert “Bob” Zeisler, age 93, of St. Petersburg, Florida passed away after a brief illness in Hospice care on March 30, 2020. He was predeceased by his wife of 49 years JoAnn “Jo” Zeisler who passed away in July of 2000 and by their daughter Becky in 1970.
Born in Waverley, Ohio, he was a graduate of Chillicothe High School, proudly served in the Navy during World War II, and was a watchmaker by trade. He came here in 1963 to work with Honeywell in the aerospace industry before retiring in 1991 from Smith Industries. Bob’s trademark wit and sense of humor was endearing to all who knew him. We will miss him dearly.
Bob is survived by a loving family, daughters Christi Aldridge, Jacksonville and Debbie Zeisler, St. Petersburg, grandchildren Justin (Allison) Aldridge, Mandi (Adam) York and as” Papaw Z” to great granddaughters Makenzi and Mallori York all of Jacksonville, FL.
Bob will be laid to rest at the Bay Pines Veteran’s Cemetery in St. Petersburg, Florida in a private family burial due to the current pandemic.
I am sorry to hear of the passing of your Father. He and your Mother were great neighbors on Cause Way Blvd.
