Rocco John Micucci , 99, of Largo, Fl, formerly of Philadelphia, PA, passed away on August 11, 2018. Predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Lucy, his sister, Mildred, his brothers John, Nicholas, Dominic, Anthony and Daniel, he is survived by his loving wife of 76 years, Carmela (Carol), his daughter, Carol McQuaid (Keith), grandsons, Sean McQuaid (Tracy) and Brendan McQuaid, his great- grandson, Beckham and many nieces and nephews.
Rocky retired from Pennwalt Chemicals in 1979 after 25 years as a foreman in charge of several departments. He was a devoted family man who loved being with his family more than anything. He was the greatest Pop in the world to his grandchildren and will be truly missed.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Jerome Catholic Church, Largo, on September 7 at 11:00 a.m. with interment following at Bay Pines National Cemetary, St.Petersburg, Fl. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
