Ronald R. Retchtenbach passed away on December 23, 2018 at the age of 90. Ronald was born July 27, 1928 on a farm outside of Bridgewater, Iowa. He was born to Dan and Lucy Rechtenbach. He attended and graduated from Prescott High School in Iowa. He then farmed in the Prescott area and was called to serve his country in the Korean War. He was honorably discharged and served his country with pride. After the service, he worked in sales and had a passion for cars. He married the love of his life, Rosemary, on October 3, 1969. They lived happily together in Florida for 46 years. They attended church regularly and were inseparable. They loved to travel throughout the United States and to Germany. Loved ones will fondly remember his bright eyes and joyous smile.
Preceding Ronald in death were his parents Daniel and Lucy Rechtenbach, wife Rosemary, brother-in-law David Darling, great-niece Lisa Darling, and sister-in- law Jeanette Rechtenbach.
Ronald is survived by his brother Leo Rechtenbach and sisters Elma (Dallas) Schrader and Norma Darling. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
