Shirley E. Woodward, 101, of Largo, Florida passed away on June 18, 2023 at the Ellison Senior Living Center, Largo, Florida.
She was born on April 8, 1922 to Louis and Mable(Schau) Hawley in Ringwood, Illinois. She was a typist for the Treasury Department; a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and was of the Methodist faith.
Preceded in death by her husband, John D. Woodworth Sr., Shirley is survived by her loving family: sons; Louis Woodward and his wife, Cheryl of Largo, Florida and Tim Woodward of Tarpon Springs, Florida; three grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Shirley services are 11:00 AM, Friday, July 7, 2023 at the Bay Pines National Cemetery, 10000 Bay Pines Blvd., Bay Pines, Florida with Patrick Blyeth, to officiate. She then will be buried at Bay Pines National Cemetery with her husband.
