Stanley Jordan III, 60, of Saint Petersburg, Florida, died June 5 th , 2023 at HCA Northside Hospital following a long fought battle of complications from liver failure. Stanley was born on September 7 th, 1962, in Fort Belvoir, Va. He was the son of the late Stanley Earl Jordan Jr.

He is survived by his Fiancé and life partner: Kate Reis Sharples. Sons: Dustin A Sharples, Chris A. Sharples and Dylan A Sharples. Daughter: Stacey M Roberts (Sharples). Mother: Betty Faye Stephens Willoughby. Sister: Pamela L. Jordan. Aunt: Diana Jordan. Grandchildren: Zachary Sharples, Trevor Hensel, Brandon Roberts, Skylar Sharples, Piper R Sharples, Lilianna R. Sharples, and Catalina J Sharples. Several loving cousins from Florida, North Carolina and Texas.

Stanley worked at Renaissance Vinoy St. Petersburg Banquets Department for 29 years. He was also Captain at the Renaissance Vinoy. Stanley spent 30 years in Fayetteville North Carolina as well as 30 years in St. Petersburg Florida. He enjoyed playing Poker, watching Boxing matches, riding his motorcycle, fishing, spending time with his life partner/Fiancé Kate Sharples and spending time with his children and grandchildren. His proudest achievements were raising his twin sons as his own and going back to college to prove that it is never too late to earn a degree, which he obtained from St. Pete college.

Stanley always made jokes to make light of any situation and he always put others first in his life, he took care of his family in the best way he knew how.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday June 21st , 2023, at 10:00 am at Veterans Funeral Care 830 N. Belcher Rd, Clearwater FL 33765 then at St Pauls Catholic Church on Wednesday June 21st at 1:00 pm 1800 12th St N St Pete FL 33704.
