He was born in Beaver, Pennsylvania on February 25, 1936. He was proceeded in death by his parents Charles & Cora Mae Staub. US Air Force for 4 years and after that a furniture salesman for Maas Brothers for over 25 years and then continuing selling furniture for many years after they closed. Dad had the gift of speaking, he never met a stranger and loved to talk to anyone and everyone. His opening line was “Hi their young man” no matter if that person was 20 or 90 years old. To family his line was “so what’s new with you” and he genuinely wanted to hear everything you had to say. He loved his family and invited friends and coworkers…really anyone to join any function we had. He was a “dad” to many earning special nicknames: Stubby or Buckie.

He would do anything for his children including digging a hole with Lesley for a pool in our backyard that took months. Giving away the dirt and asking for contributions back years later when he filled it in.

He had a great love for animals and had many beloved dogs & cats throughout his life – Leroy Brown, Max, and his last love Roxy to name a few.

He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
