Steven “Stevie” Welch, age 55, passed away on June 12, 2026. While his journey in life was not without challenges, Stevie was deeply loved by his family and will be remembered by those who knew him.
Stevie was preceded in death by his father, Michael Welch, and his brother-in-law, Gary Mintz.
He is survived by his loving mother, Mary Welch; his sisters, Christine Welch-Mintz and Valerie Welch; his brother, Michael Welch II; and his brother-in-law, Chris Rogers.
He also leaves behind his cherished nieces and nephews, Jennifer Anderson, James Anderson, Austin Rogers, and Ashley Rogers Stevens. He is further survived by his great-niece, Paisley Stevens, and his great-nephews, Logan Craine and Jaycob Anderson, all of whom brought joy to his family and will carry his memory forward.
Stevie shared a lifetime of memories with his family. Though time and circumstances may change the paths we travel, the bonds of family remain. Those who loved Stevie will remember the moments they shared, the stories that made them laugh, and the memories that can never be taken away.
The family would like to thank everyone who has offered prayers, support, and kindness during this difficult time. As they mourn his passing, they also celebrate the life he lived and the place he will always hold in their hearts.
Though Stevie is no longer with us, he will be remembered with love and missed by his family and friends.
