Susan Eileen Claycomb passed away peacefully on April 28th, 2020 after a long illness. She was 69 years old.
Originally from Scranton, PA she is the daughter of Roy & Edith (Bennett) Norris. She moved to St. Petersburg in 1965 and has loved living here ever since. On June 29th, 1970 she married the love of her life Mr. Leslie Robert Claycomb in Gulfport, FL. They shared 50 amazing years together.
She was predeceased by her parents Roy and Edith as well as sisters Diana, Sandy and Millie. Susan leaves behind her loving husband Les, daughter Melissa and son Ed, devoted son-in-law Roe and daughter-in-law Krissy. Also surviving are her grandchildren Kris and Diana who she adored with all her heart, niece Tammy and her son Landon who were a source of joy and support along with her niece Lisa, sisters Janet and Sherry and too many loving friends and extended family to list.
Susan spent over 50 years in the antique business and was proud owner of Memory Lane Antiques.
Her family would like to extend a special Thank You to all of her friends who have supported the Claycomb family and always helped Susan feel loved. There are too many to list here, but those thanks extend to all of you.
Currently there aren’t any formal services or ceremonies planned. Susan will be laid to rest at Bay Pines National Cemetery.
