Sylvester Perry Sr. was the oldest of 6 siblings. As an adolescence he was an active member of the Boys and Girls club in Peoria, IL. He enjoyed working at their Tri Country Urban Leagues or teens. Sylvester joined the U.S Army at the tender age of 18. His attention to details and precision was his forte. He received countless recognition and awards for his bravery and superior skills while in service. His fondness for artistry that included drawing, painting, and wood carving was a natural self taught skill that was an inspiration to all he encountered. Sylvester had a big heart and beautiful captivating smile. As a smooth dancer, He adorned old school music. He contributed spiritual wealth to many. We will truly love and miss him dearly.
