ylvia Margaret Happ was born on March 6, 1923 in London, England. She passed away on December 6, 2017 under the care of Hospice at the age of 94.
She is survived by her niece Margaret Shatto of St. Petersburg, Florida. Sylvia will be buried privately next to her husband, David Happ, a Navy veteran at Bay Pines National Cemetery.

Dear, Dear Sylvia…such a Lovely little British Lady…. her husband, David and I were stationed together in
Norfolk, VA, I used to drive him up to Doylestown, PA on holidays to visit his parents… tight friends in all respects we were. He met,fell in love, and married Sylvia during that time and we had great times together. They came to visit us years later while I was stationed in Sanford, FL, and they were the Godparents of my oldest son, Marc. David was our Navy barber, and a really good one. We communicated a few times over the years from my many remote Naval duty stations, but I lost contact about 40 years ago. Even in death, Sylvia and David…I shall never forget you. P.S….your meatloaf can never be duplicated…it was “Sylvialicious” Rest in peace in your place in Heaven above…..
