Theodore “Ted” C. Sachs Sr., 87 of Largo, Florida passed away on December 30, 2016.
The funeral service will be held at Bay Pines National Cemetery on Friday, January 13, 2017 at 10:am.
Ted was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on November 13, 19. He graduated from Campion, A Jesuit High School, from Artillery Officer Candidate School in Ft. Sill, OK and from Tri State College in Indiana as a mechanical engineer.
Ted was married to Jeanne Frazee Sachs on July 12, 1953 at Ft. Bragg NC and were married 63 years.
Ted was honorably discharged as a Lieutenant from the US Army. After college he worked as a mechanical engineer for 13 years at PPG in the Lake Charles, Louisiana area. He then became an account executive for the stock market for 30 years. Following retirement Ted and his wife traveled the country in a motor home before moving to Largo, Florida.
Ted is survived by his spouse, Jeanne Frazee Sachs of Largo, Brother, Robert Sachs of California, cousin Dennis McNamara of Wisconsin, Children, Ted Sachs Jr (Sherry) of Texas, Steve Sachs (Debbie) of Texas, Terri Sachs Myers (Terry) of Florida and Cindy Sachs Villarreal (Sid) of Largo, Fl. He had 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Ted is preceded in death by his parents Jane Clark Sachs and Theodore L. Sachs, brothers Tom and Skipper Sachs.
Ted enjoyed bowling and going to Tampa Bay Rays games as a season ticket holder.
The family wishes to thank the staff of the Mid County Hospice Care Center for the compassion shown for Ted and his family.

It’s been two years since you went to Heaven and we all miss you every day. You were the most amazing father a girl could ask for and I am so proud to have had you as such a big influence on my life. I love and miss you daddy, more than words could ever express.
