Theodore Kasey

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Theodore Kasey, age 94, of Seminole, FL, who left us on April 3rd, 2025. Theodore was born on January 11th, 1931, in Detroit, Michigan, to Ukrainian immigrant parents Stephen and Anna Kasey.

In June of 1955, Theodore married the love of his life, Noleen McParland, and together they celebrated 70 wonderful years of marriage, filled with love, laughter, and companionship. Theodore is survived by his beloved wife, Noleen, and their cherished son, Michael Kasey. Ted is being reunited in Heaven with his siblings that he was very close to, Myron Kasey, Peter Kasey, and Eugenia Kaczor. They were a big part of his upbringing and he loves them dearly.

A dedicated and passionate leader, Ted worked for the Packard Motor Car Company before joining the Army and was eventually promoted to the rank of Corporal.  Before being transferred to the Army Reserve. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and a Good Conduct Medal. Good Conduct Medals are awarded to the top 7% of all GI’s and typically come with a promotion. His last duty station was at Fort Knox, KY. Theodore served as a school principal, maintenance manager, and special projects coordinator throughout his illustrious career. He proudly worked as a school administrator for the Utica Community Schools, where he left a lasting impact on the faculty, students, and community. His commitment extended beyond his professional life; he was an active member of Enterprise Village and the Harbor Greens Condo Board of Directors, where he made numerous contributions and formed lasting friendships.

Ted was an adventurous spirit who loved exploring the world. He found joy in going on cruises and visiting friends and family across the United States and Canada. Known for his problem-solving skills, he was the go-to man when someone needed assistance. Ted’s generous heart and willingness to help others defined him, and he will be remembered for his dedication to family and friends.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all the family, friends, and neighbors for their support during this time. Ted’s spirit will live on in the love he shared, reminding us to have faith and continue loving each other.

Rest in peace, Theodore Kasey. You will be deeply missed.
