Thomas H. Mineker, 87, of Largo, FL entered into eternal rest on May 5th, 2024. Mr. Mineker was a native of Syracuse and Camillus most of his life before moving to Florida. Tom was a graduate of Central, class of 1955. He worked at New York telephone and AT&T for 36 years. He attended Holy Family and St Jerome’s churches. Tom was a certified N.Y.S. Football official for 18 years, past president, and coach of the West Genesee athletic club, and enjoyed lacrosse and hunting. Tom is pre-deceased by his wife of 27 years, Carol A. Mineker, and his brother, Scott. Tom is survived by his loving fiance of almost 40 years, Susan Stafy, his sons, Tom (Donna), David (Kim), and Scott. His stepchildren Michael Stafy and Tanya Giannuzzi (Joe), his brothers, Paul and Bill, as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held in Tom’s honor at Greenlawn Cemetery in Warners, New York.
