Thomas P. Schulz, 80, of Hollywood, FL passed away Sunday morning, August 2, 2015 at Memorial South Hospital – Hospice Unit, under the care of Hospice By The Sea.
He moved here from his native Chicago, IL in 1971 where he retired as a Carpenter. He was a member of the Carpenters Local Union #199. He was also a local Bee Keeper. Tom was a member of Rare Fruit and Plant Assoc. in Davie, FL, the Full Gospel Businessmen Assoc., and Sheridan Baptist Church, Hollywood. He was an US Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Gloria P. Schulz; daughter, Katherine Barry of Edwards, CO; stepson, Vito Evko of Coram, NY; brother, William of Huntington Beach, CA; two sisters, Caroline Faber of Golden, TX and Irene Schulz of Winnetka, IL; 9 grandchildren: Matthew E., Christine, Timothy, Michael, Paul, Megan, Matthew B., Ryan, and Breanna; and great granddaughter, Bella Grace.
A graveside service with military honors will be presented at 10:45 AM on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 So. State Road 7, Lake Worth, FL 33449.
