Truman (Hee Haw) Thompson of (St. Albans, WV) Zephyrhills, FL went to be with our Lord, March 27, 2022. He was preceded in death by his father-Albert, mother-Velvia, and brother- Dorth (Duke). He grew up in Dawes/Cabin Creek, WV.
He was a member of St. Peter’s United Methodist Church-St. Albans, WV. Truman was a former school bus driver and service station owner. Truman served in the U. S. Army. He attended East Bank High School and WV State College. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Lola, three sons-Greg, Jason (Nicki), and Shane (Amy) plus seven grandchildren, a sister, Shirley Nix, two sisters-in-law, Barbara Thompson and Rosalee Dolan brother-in law, Don Dolan.
There will be no services. Truman’s final resting place will be at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
