Tyler Jacobs, 19, of Largo Florida passed away on July 14th, 2024. He was just 19 years old.
Born March 8th, 2005 in Chattanooga, TN at Erlanger Hospital he is the son of Jason and Angela.
Tyler spent his childhood growing up in Tennessee and Florida. In his middle childhood years, Tyler spent holidays and summers with his father in Florida and the school year with his mother in Tennessee until his Junior year of high school when he moved to Florida. Tyler excelled in any subject, craft, or hobby that he wanted. He just had to want to excel in that area. He was part of the Air Force JROTC at Hixson High School in Tennessee.
Tyler graduated from Pinellas Park High School in 2023. He joined the Air Force prior to graduation and always had intended to serve his country. It had always been his life dream and he was stationed in Misawa, Japan.
Tyler was a soft spoken gentleman who was always protective of his family members, friends, and especially the important women in his life. Tyler was the easiest of his siblings to raise. He was kind, loving, and always tried to do the right thing.
Tyler was blessed with his fathers inability to dance and sang, but he sure tried to dance and sing. In addition to being an amazing chef who loved to cook, he always aspired to play sports, but settled at playing cornhole, and he crushed at cornhole.
Tyler’s life changed for the best in his Senior year of high school when he met and started dating Allyssa, whom I believe was the love of his life. With that relationship, Tyler grew into an adult and helped mold him into the most amazing man.
He is survived by his father Jason Jacobs, mother Angela Overton, sisters Anna, Jordan, and Paige, brother Bradley, girlfriend Allyssa and many others who will always love him and miss him.
To remember Tyler and celebrate his life, everyone who knew him are invited on Saturday August 10th, 2024 beginning with a Funeral Service taking place at Veterans Funeral Care (830 N. Belcher Rd, Clearwater) beginning at 11:00am, officiated by Pastor Nelson Blount. Following the chapel service, he will be laid to rest at Calvary Catholic Cemetery (5233 118th Ave N, Clearwater) at 12:30pm.
Please reach out to his family to share your support during this most difficult time.
Our deepest heartfelt condolences Jason and Angela. Your parenting was instrumental in Tyler’s maturing process. As parents we don’t always get everything right. However, your son didn’t fall far from the tree so to speak. His love for his family experienced one week before his death is such a monumental telling of his character. His heart will forever be fleshed out in your lives and that of each family member. We honor Tyler’s memory and celebrate his family; praying for God’s comforting presence in your lives in such a hurricane of emotions in an elongated process to receive his remains home today. Camille and I are privileged to support you in prayer. Love and hugs from new friends who have in some small way passed this way as you well know. God loves you and so do we. May Tyler’s memory be honored through the legacy of his brief life though full and standing tall as an Air Force enlisted serviceman. Thank you, Tyler, for your service.
