Vincent S. Sciarrotta passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on September 9, 2024. He was born August 8, 1930 in Trenton, NJ. He served in the United States Navy as a second-class Petite Officer aboard the USS Hyades AF 28 from 1949 to 1953. Following the Navy, Vincent married his wife of sixty-nine years, Frances Sciarrotta. From 1959 to 1990 Vincent worked at RCA in the Aero-Space Division as a Manager for Transportation. Predeceased by beloved son, Arthur Sciarrotta. Survived by wife, Frances; his granddaughters Amanda Sciarrotta-Farell (Jherald) and Julia Pereiras (Alan). Vincent cherished his time with his family, loved baseball, and he was a proud veteran. Vincent was loved by his family and friends, and will be missed dearly.
Vincent’s Visitation will be held at 1pm followed by a Memorial service at 2pm on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at Veterans Funeral Care, 830 N Belcher Rd, Clearwater, Florida. Details for the reception will be announced at the service.

PopPop was much beloved by his granddaughter, Amanda,
and since i knew her, then he must have been one outstanding human being. I never had the pleasure of meeting him, but he will be remembered kindly by family and friends.
