Wayne M. Misler

Wayne M. Misler, age 87, of Clearwater Beach, Florida, passed away on August 5, 2026, at AccentCare Hospice Center following an extended illness.

Wayne was born on February 19, 1939, in Baltimore, Maryland, to Henry Misler and Eleanor Cohen. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force with the Strategic Air Command. Following his military service, Wayne enjoyed a distinguished career with the Social Security Administration’s Integrity Department before his entrepreneurial spirit led him to become the owner of a fine jewelry store.

Wayne embraced life with enthusiasm and a genuine sense of adventure. Affectionately known as “Wandering Wayne,” he was an avid world traveler whose remarkable journeys took him to all seven continents. He treasured exploring new cultures, meeting new people, and collecting antiques along the way.

Closer to home, Wayne found great joy in the friendships he shared as a proud member of the Regatta Beach Club Grilling Gang. Whether he was planning his next adventure, sharing stories from around the globe, or enjoying time with family and friends, Wayne’s warmth, humor, and adventurous spirit made him unforgettable.

Wayne is survived by his beloved daughter, Hillary Kasarjian and her husband, Steven; his cherished granddaughters, Arianna Kasarjian and Avaleigh Kasarjian; his adored younger sister, Lynne Emminizer; and his partner of several years, Jeannie Spraitz.  He also leaves behind many extended family members and dear friends who will forever treasure the memories they shared with him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at Frenchy’s Saltwater Café, 419 Poinsettia Avenue, Clearwater, Florida 33767.

Wayne’s adventurous soul, generous heart, and unwavering zest for life will be deeply missed, but his legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched and the extraordinary memories he created around the world. May his journeys continue in eternal peace
