While his family mourns his passing, they rejoice in the assurance that he is now in the presence of Jesus, whom he loved and served faithfully throughout his life.

I knew Wes Neller as a member of my congregation at First Assembly of God in Clearwater, FL. I knew him to be a man of integrity and honesty. He made friends easily, and all his friends were blessed in calling him Friend. (Revelation 14:13) John says, “A voice from heaven instructs John to write: ‘Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from henceforth. Yes, says the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors, and their works do follow them.”
Kim and I have spent our last 35 or more years seeing Wes & Marilyn in church. Talking about our boys and their boys & girls. He was always interested in what we were doing, always a hug for us. He was made to be a “church greeter” he made you feel welcome and was happy to see you in church. I love telling the story that I told him I needed a shed for bikes and my BBQ grill and he built it for me. He was a great carpenter. I figured it would look like “a shed” when I came home and saw it, it was attached to the side of the house and looked like an architect drew it up! It blended in and it didn’t look like a shed. It was a work of carpentry art! He did so much for our church, supporting our pastors. I will miss my friend Wes.
We are so deeply sorry for your loss. Wes was truly a remarkable man—a man of faith whose love for the Lord was evident in the way he lived his life and impacted those around him. He was an inspiration to so many, and his legacy will continue through the countless lives he touched.
While our hearts grieve his passing, we rejoice in knowing that Wes is now in the presence of the Lord he loved and served so faithfully, enjoying the fullness of his eternal reward.
Please know that our love, thoughts, and prayers are with you and your beautiful family during this difficult time. May the Lord surround each of you with His unfailing love, comfort, strength, and peace in the days ahead.
With love and heartfelt sympathy,
Ken and Laura Hope
