WILLEY, William A., of Seminole, FL passed away on February 16, 2024, following a 10 year battle with cancer. He was 81. William was born on April 2, 1942 in New Castle, IN to parents, Jack Willey and Helen Willey (Kephart).
William proudly served his country for 21 years in the United States Air Force and was stationed at Clark AFB, Manila, Philippines. He married the love of his life, Estela on December 18, 1969. They were together for 54 years.
William was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, whose love and generosity knew no bounds. He cherished spending time with his family and took great pride in their accomplishments as adults. He raised a traditional family and was a proud member of Seminole First Baptist Church who devoted his life to following Jesus Christ. William was a hospice volunteer for over 10 years. He enjoyed gardening, photography, road trips, Sunday school & church, watching his grandson play soccer, and his quest to find the best diner. He was a proud grandfather.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Estela Willey; children, Billy Willey, Anna Levin, and Samantha James; grandson, Alexander Levin and friends, who will always carry his memory in their hearts.
A Visitation will be held at Seminole First Baptist Church on February 24, 9:00 AM, with a Service beginning at 10:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Williams name to Seminole First Baptist Church or North Pinellas Hospice Center.
Uncle Bill will be sadly missed by all. I will never hear Mary Had a Little Lamb, again and not think of him. He was a special man on so many levels.
