William (Bill) Morgan Jr. 1935-2022
Bill was born in Virginia to William and Roslyn Morgan. He had two children, a daughter, Carol and a son, Keith. He had various family members and a few close friends.
Bill graduated from West Point and from there served in the Navy as a pilot and flew many rescue missions. He had a Masters in meteorology, and was learned and had many educational accomplishments. Bill was a Mason as well.
He left the military with many special honors. He had a Meritorious service medal with gold star, Meritorious unit commendation with three bronze stars, Navy expeditionary medal, National Defense Service Medal, Antarctica service medal, Armed Forces expeditionary medal, Sea service deployment ribbon. He ended his career as a Commander.
As a young man he was in the Sea Scouts and had remained friends for years with those members.
A graveside service will be in the Barrancas National Cemetery, NAS Pensacola, Florida on June 2nd at 2:00pm. Trahan Family Funeral Home is handling arrangements in Pensacola.
