Willie was a brother-in-law that was always supportive to the Wilson family. Although him and my sister Sue was not together when she was here, he was always part of our family. Going to miss him not being here. But his memory will last on. May he R.I.P.

To the Potts family,
God bless you! Have faith that we all will be reunited with papa Willie again. Yes, he had some of us on the Police Department that he taught lifes lessons
to also. What a great man! Always a smile on his face.
Always a kind word to say.Id stop often when I was working the Maywood beat to see him at his side job. Hed greet you like he hadnt seen you in years, when in fact we might have seen each other the day before at roll call.Im glad he got to enjoy his retirement,at least for a little while. I will remember him fondly. He taught me alot on how to be a compassionate cop.
Thank you for sharing your father, grandfather, with us on the PD! Know that you are blessed and Papa Willie will always be watching over you!
My sincere condolences to the Potts family,I know you lost a great family member and a good friend to us, but if I know Willie he is in heaven right now looking down on all us with that million dollar smile. My God bless you for every and ever.
