Wilmer (Will) L. Witt Jr., 62, passed away into God’s loving arms on Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2018 at his home in Dade City, Florida. He was born in Elyria, Ohio on April 11, 1956.
Will served his country in the United States Army. He retired as a Senior Staff Sergeant after twenty years of service, which included over five years of Foreign Service. He was an avid golfer, playing as many days a week as he could.
He was preceded in death by his parents Wilmer and Patricia (Fletcher) Witt. Will is survived by his wife Gale; son, Stanley Jamie Hammill; and two granddaughters, Tessa and Tayah.
A service, with Full Military Honors, will take place at 11:00AM on Wednesday, October 17, 2018, at Florida National Cemetery. The cemetery is located at 6502 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, FL 33513.
