This can help avoid confusion and reduce stress at the time of loss. This is also the time when we can submit an advanced application for the local National Cemeteries. For the Bay Pines area, the Sarasota National Cemetery is about an hour south, or the Florida National Cemetery is about an hour and a half north. National Cemeteries are intended only for Veterans and their families and are free of charge.
